Three Kashmir trains to remain cancelled from Jul 11 to 25 | KNO

Srinagar, Jul 10 (KNO): Northern Railway on Friday said three trains operating on the Banihal-Baramulla rail section will remain cancelled from July 11 to 25 due to scheduled track maintenance work in the Kashmir Valley. The Jammu Division, in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that maintenance work is being undertaken to ensure passenger safety and improve railway operations by strengthening the track during the summer season. The cancelled trains include Train No. 74615 Banihal-Baramulla, Train No. 74632 Baramulla-Budgam and Train No. 74628 Budgam-Banihal. All three services will remain suspended during the maintenance period. The passengers have been advised to check the latest train status through the IRCTC website, mobile application or Rail Madad (139) before commencing their journey. The Railways also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and sought the cooperation of passengers during the maintenance work—(KNO)
